Cultivating Sustainable Futures

Our Community Garden project teaches young leaders about sustainable agriculture, environmental stewardship, and food security while providing fresh produce to local families in need.

Participants learn practical gardening skills, from planting seeds to harvesting crops, while understanding the Islamic principles of environmental responsibility and caring for Allah's creation.

Hands-On Learning

Practical experience in planting, maintaining, and harvesting organic vegetables

Environmental Education

Understanding sustainable practices, composting, and water conservation

Community Food Security

Produce distributed to local families and food banks

Chemical-free gardening using natural pest control and composting

Monthly workshops on gardening techniques and environmental science

Rotating selection of vegetables suited to Northwest Arkansas climate

Youth Leadership

Teenagers can become "Garden Mentors" to teach younger participants

Saturdays 9 AM - 12 PM (April through October)

Community garden plot in Fayetteville (address provided upon registration)

Age Requirements

Open to all ages (children under 12 must be accompanied by adult)

What to Bring

Water bottle, hat, gardening gloves (tools provided)
